Summer
Relaxing hours in your holiday home. Especially in summer the South Tyrolean mountains enchant us again and again!
Movement and nature
Whether Nordic walking or cycling and MTB tours, alpine pasture hikes or challenging summit tours, summer in Spinga is as varied as it is exciting. An excursion to the Seefeld lakes, the Wilde Kreuzspitze (Picco della Croce) or the Alpe di Rodengo pasture is almost obligatory, countless trails provide adventure on two wheels, and in the Dolomites the most beautiful climbing tours await their conquerors!
Culture and sightseeing
Every year in September, just in time for the return of the cattle from the alpine pastures back into the valley (transhumance), the Bauernjugend (association of young farmers) of Spinga organises a festival to celebrate this South Tyrolean tradition. The Franzensfeste fort, not far from the DILIA, regularly hosts modern art exhibitions, but the fortress itself, full of recent and ancient history, is worth a visit, too (with a guided tour!)
Body and soul
In summer South Tyrol’s cities and villages are home to a plethora of social events like street kitchens, town festivals, patronage fairs, concerts from classical music to rock and pop music, wine festivals and much more. Culture meets cuisine – a perfect symbiosis.
