Winter
Movement and nature
The sun-drenched slopes of the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area, only 18 km from the DILIA, are equipped with 15 modern lifts. Cosy huts round off the winter fun, and those who don’t have any equipment will find what they are looking for at the toboggan, ski and snowboard rental on site! The nearby alpine pastures invite you to go snowshoeing and tobogganing. And the Alpinpool in Maranza provides relaxation after the adventures in the snow.
Culture and sightseeing
Especially in winter, a stroll through the snow-covered and decorated alleys of the villages in South Tyrol has a special flair. There are numerous museums to visit – with the AlmenCard+ even free of charge, including travel by public transport. The history of our towns and villages can be explored on horse-drawn carriage rides or sleigh rides, and the church events such as the Christmas mass are a traditional and contemplative experience.
Body and Soul
The contemplative Advent is a feast for all senses, especially for your tastebuds – testing delicacies on one of the numerous Christmas markets in South Tyrol, all special in their own way.
